The SOC Community Prayer Trail is now open! Our opening ceremony was the afternoon of Sunday, September 24. We invited various local dignitaries to walk the trail with us, pointing out various prayer and reflection sites throughout.
The trail is open from sunrise to sunset. We invite you to walk the trail, take in the beauty of God’s nature, and meditate on Bible verses and reflective thoughts. We pray that you feel God’s love as you ponder all He has in store for you.
Led by Nathan Kopel and then Art Suarez, a cadre of Reagan High School students, along with some dedicated Stone Oak Church volunteers, have worked to clear a tremendous amount of brush from the land behind the church to transform it into a community prayer trail.
Sonterra POA gifted the church a cross and two picnic tables, and we could not be more thankful. You can see them in the moonlit picture above.
